EXCURSIONS/ FIELD TRIPS
On occasion the school will organise excursions or field trips. Information regarding these will be communicated to parents in advance and specific permission advice will be required for each trip.
All excursions and field trips will be thoroughly planned and fully supervised to ensure maximum security and educational benefits for all participating.

CAMP PROGRAMME
HOPE is developing a camp program for all students.  School camps are an additional cost, to be borne by the parents. Parents will receive comprehensive information regarding these, well in advance.   Parent help will also be sought for camps.

SWIMMING PROGRAMME
The swimming programme operates in semester two at a local swimming centre. Each class will attend one session per week over an 8 week period. Water awareness, water safety and fun and fitness form part of the program. Parental assistance pool side is essential to the success of this program. Please register your support with the program coordinator.

SPORTS PROGRAMME
Students participate in regular weekly sport lessons. These lessons involve both games and skill building in a range of sports. HOPE currently schedules an athletics carnival in semester one, where students participate in a range of track and field events. Students are then selected to compete in an interschool event held in the second semester. These events are held at a neighbouring international school.

PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMME
Where staff with expertise are available the school hopes to produce a musical, play or concert each year. Rehearsals and planning for such events would take place out of school hours.

CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD
This is an annual celebration of the diversity in which our multi-cultural  students celebrate Christmas. Parents are involved in the planning and coordinating of this event and the whole school and wider community are invited to watch as students perform traditional songs and dramas from their home countries.
HOPE regularly hosts visiting helpers on short term trips to Cambodia who offer their services to the school. International Guests may share expertise in any area with students to broaden their educational experience at Hope. Activities from previous International Guests include ballet, computer club, school play direction and production, sporting teams and activities and in-school assistance with ESL and special needs students.
