In July 2008, Hope International School started its operations in The Bellezza Permata Hijau under a different name – Cambridge International School Indonesia. The school gained its full registration as an international school with the government regulatory body DIKNAS. On March 5th 2009, it became as it is now known – an independent international school in its own right, Hope International School, Permata Hijau, South Jakarta, Indonesia. The beginnings of this modern school stem from a heart-felt desire by the school owners to see top quality international education made available to all children living within Indonesia, regardless of their academic or social standing attained in other schools. An open-heart, open-arm, open-door policy was put in place, with year-round registration available. Students are embraced because they are the precious creations of Almighty God, and as a result have to be nurtured and encouraged. Irrational, artificial benchmarks that have no foundation in research or reality do not control, neither do they influence our positive enrolment policy. Hope International School is already offering outstanding educational facilities, expanding an the principle of holistic education for future generations who will be prepared to take their place in the wider world and to make a constructive contribution to the global community. |
